OK, I made up my mind.  I voted "NO" to rec.ascii arts.   Two reasons:

1) I know what Alt.a-a is like, and I like it.  Why take chances?

2) The only big waste of bandwidth here these days is the r.a.a debate, and the
   only thing that I want to see in a FAQ is the addresses of the people who
   keep posting to VOTING:..., so that they all can assault each other via
   e-mail.  :-)  (Myself included)
