I have received several responses - some nice, some spice, and seen some obviously Gifscii-converted images posted here, which is very rewarding. Based on some helpful critiquing and also some ideas of my own I am reworking the code for Gifscii to include the following features: - gif89 support - brightness & contrast controls - panning in small & large increments - <> There are also some bug fixes (yeesh) and c-code improvements that are needed. Because of the large interest in this program I would like to enroll the assistance of c-programmers on several different platforms to see if we can create a portable-source version of Gifscii, and make executables available on some ftp site. Now I'm just a novice c-programmer, so hopefully volunteers would be more experienced in order that a quality product emerges. Please reply to: Paul Kline pk6811s@acad.drake.edu
