One is to check out the sigs I have been (and will be) posting to r.a.a, from the past SAAAs. Also, you can FTP the big Best of the Scarecrow's Sig Gallery from Jorn's or Chris' FTP sites. And remember, a sig doesn't have to be fancy. As it says in the FAQ, "You might simply 'Figletize' your name, pop in your addy and a pic, and presto, instant sig:" | | 'Guitar John' || ___| johnsmith@foo.bar.edu | | | || / _) | | | _ \ __ \ __ \ \||/ __ \ __ `__ \ | __| __ \ \ | ( | | | | | /()\ | | | | | | | | ___/ ___/ _| _| _| _| \__/ _____/ _| _| _| _| __| _| _| The only thing you shouldn't do is cop somebody else's sig. Other than that, most people do 'find' ASCII art somewhere and use it in their sig. And you can always use a quote or two. If you are posting to the ASCII groups, or sending an email message, you can use a big sig. But for most groups, 4 to 6 lines is a good rule of thumb. -- __ __ ________ ___________ __ ____ __ ________________ _______ _ __ ____________________ _ ___________ _ ______________________ ___________ ________________________ _ __________ __ ____________________ _ ____ _____ ___ ____ _____ _____ ____ _______ __ __ __ / __/ /____/ /__ \ /__ \ /____/ /____/ /__ \ / ___ / / / / / / / ( ( __ __| | ___) / ____ __ ___) / / / / / / / / / / / \ \ / / ,/,/| | / _/ / __/ / / / _/ / / / / / / / / / / ____) )/ /__ ,/ /__| | / /\ \ / /__ / /__ / /\ \ / /__/ / / /_/ /_/ / /_____//____//________|/_/ /_/ /____/ /____/ /_/ /_/ /______/ /_________/ ________ _______ _ __ ________ ______ __ _______ ______ _ ___ _ _____ ____ _ _______ ____ __ ________ __ __ ___ _ _ boba@gagme.wwa.com _
