One of the people who requested it offered to place it in his FTP site. If you want to get this file, you can find it in ftp.dungeon.com/pub/doc/smilecat.zip -- it is about 17k long. When unzipped, the file is about 53k long and there are approximately 800 - 900 different smileys with various meanings. One note: I have added a brief disclaimer which is basically a reminder that I only compiled the list and did not write any of it. If you find anything in the list offensive and/or inappropriate (which is a possibility knowing some of the smileys in there), whatever you do, DO NOT start flaming me for it! If you wish to suggest alternate meanings for smileys, go right ahead and I'll include them in the list. If you have new smileys, not on my list, also feel free to e-mail them to me. If there is enough interest in this smiley catalog, I will continue to update the list and send them to the FTP site (assuming the owner still wishes to keep the file there). I can also keep a mailing list of sorts and e-mail the updated list to people as well. Any one who is interested in this catalog can e-mail me and let me know. I hope you all enjoy the list and make good use of it! -- James Marshall 157763091@ucis.vill.edu
