   I just wanted to say that while some folks have had trouble with it, 
others have not had trouble.  I've made several nice conversions which I 
have posted here.

   We will probably have to wait for future versions to have a Mac 
interface, flexible controls, and other goodies.  But remember, GIF -> 
ASCII conventers are very low on the totem pole.  A programmer would not 
receivee any monetary reward for doing lots of work on a convorter.  

   THeir only reword is the feedback they get from the users.  If you 
would like to see some fancy upgrades of Gifscii (and other converters), you 
should tell the authors that they are appreciated, and encourage them to 
continue.
