    Well it's nice to see some of those examples.  It makes me feel a bit
    better.  I've been drawing simple diagrams using ASCII line art for a
    while now.  I thought I was nuts.  Now I think I'm not, or at least I
    have a lot of company.  Here's a very typical example I was working on
    just a few days ago - it's contained within the comments to a database
    code definition file.

    PS: It really helps to have a text editor that can do `rectangular'
    cut and paste!
