For my two cents worth I would say the first three variants look 
more like Skodas than VWs. I think Bas Meijer's effort is closer to 
a Beetle than Meindert de Jong's original which looks too classy for 
the old VDub.  


Here's another candidate from a different perspective - by Eric
Uner. I think it's supposed to be a VW ?

Have we actually seen the definitive VW Beetle yet ?  I think the VW
Beetle is more curvaceous than those we have seen so far.
