Off=default margin=1 in. 1-5 On=stop on paper out & beep. Off=paper detector disabled. 1-6 On=Standard control codes. Off=IBM control codes. 1-7 On=Default char set #1. Off=Default char set #2. Off=1 line print buffer, enable font download 2-2..2-4 = default international char set. ON ON ON = USA. Factory default settings are all dip switch settings on. I have disabled the paper out so I can print to the bottom of single sheets. I also set IBM control codes, and enabled char set #2. If this doesn't help, run the self-test by turning on power while holding down the paper feed key. If you get a reasonable looking printer dump of all printable chars, suspect a bad cable. Good luck!
