They liven-up these science newsgroups with pictures. I had read Colin's post last night around 23:00 local time. When I reached home and made a last visit to the bathroom just before going to bed, a brilliant idea which may pan-out occurred to me. It was so neat that I jotted down the time, 23:39 local time. The process of scientific discovery. Within the past year I had posted to the Internet that it sure would be nice to have a formula that would tell you exactly how many isotopes each of the elements had. The reason it would be nice was because I am working on naming all the elements and isotopes for all time sake. I will post that list sometime in 1995, soon, because I am almost finished with the superconductivity patent that has absorbed my attention for this year 1994. I had posted in a thread sometime in 1994 that a formula, or working idea, or model should be available to tell us exactly how many isotopes, say of uranium existed, could exist, and no more. I could not think of a scheme to attack that problem and just stored it in the back of my mind. As so much of the creative science process works this way. I want to reveal some of its detail. I wanted a formula or idea which talks about how many isotopes of each element can exist. I could not think of a method of attack and so I just filed it away in storage in the back of my mind. Hoping that I would encounter something which would call forth that desire and help push it into a possible means of attack. Anyway, getting back to the bathroom scene. I was thinking of a reply to Colin's post. And it occurred to me that I had remembered a circular periodic chart of the elements. I had remembered seeing it in this book, I believe. Title: Van Nostrand's scientific encyclopedia / Douglas M. Considine, editor ; Glenn D. Considine, managing editor. 7th ed. Imprint: New York : Van Nostrand Reinhold, c1989. And so in the bathroom, I thought, Gee, it would be nice if Colin had done a circular periodic chart and how much more difficult that is to do. Then, at local time 23:39, just like a bolt out of the blue, (in the brain locus theory of the mind it would be photons shot through my brain locus giving me the idea, shot from the Protons in the Nucleus of 231PU our Maker) I recalled the desire to have a formula which tells exactly what isotopes are possible and this circular periodic chart of the elements. And this is what I mean by letting key ideas rest or go dormant and in a better time the answer springs forth smoothly, and unforced. I connected the two ideas. And this may be the avenue of attack on the correct theory of the relative abundance of elements and isotopes. That would be a very important discovery in science for it would be a so to speak miniature theory of everything. We already have a Theory of Everything which is the PLUTONIUM ATOM TOTALITY, or PLUTONIUM ATOM WHOLE. Consider this for a Theory of the Abundance of Elements and Isotopes. It would predict what isotopes are possible to exist and no more. And it would predict the abundance of the elements in the universe at large. Consider a logarithmic spiral and making the periodic chart of elements in the shape of the logarithmic spiral. Remember that pi and e are exactly 22 subshells inside of 7 shells and 19 occupied subshells inside of 7 shells, respectively, of 231PU-- collapsed wavefunction. Now then, consider the specialness of the number e. It is indispensable in radioactivity formulas. If we do a logarithmic spiral of the periodic chart of elements, this is the first step in a line of attack to get a Theory of the Abundance of Elements and Isotopes. A logarithmic spiral is equiangular, and arguably it is the most perfect geometric object in all of creation. It is my intuition, that if we can put the periodic chart of elements with ISOTOPES into a logarithmic spiral, the spiral itself will tell and predict relative abundance of each element, each isotope, and tell what isotopes can exist. It is my hunch that the logarithmic spiral is the math geometrical embodiment of the chart of isotopes and elements.
