If you want to check out everything there is about ASCII art, and you
would like to do it without having to mess with FTP commands, and without
having to log into lots of places ...

I have been working on the Scarecrow's WWW Link. With it:

o You can check out tons of differnt ASCII art FTP and Gopher sites,
and you do it all from my web link, just press arrow keys to go where
you want, no logging in anywhere.

o You don't need to know commands, the web interfaces with FTP sites,
and automates the process, you just press arrow keys, that's all.

o You can check out links to over 100 other non-ASCII places. And
most places you go to will have links to other places. You can spend
hours browsing and going from place to place, just by pressing
      arrow keys.

Here's a samll, random sampling of the non-ASCII links on my site:

      o Whole Internet Catalog
o Scott Yanoff's Internet Services List
      o Free-Nets
      o The Smithsonian
o Commercial Sites on the Web
o WWW Fingerinfo - Stuff available in people's .plan files
o HyTelnet - Web automated Telnet service
o Archie - Search and retrieve files on FTP sites
o Imagebases - Dozens of 'em
      o Global Information Services
      o InterNIC Directory of Directories
      o Bell Labs
      o UseNet address lists
      o The Global Electronic Library
      o WIReD Magazine
      o CyberWeb
o National Archives and Records Administration
      o Woodstock '94
      o Movies Index
      o Windows World Shareware archive
      o Books by Authors
      o Books by Titles
o NASA - Goddard Space Flight Center
o Central index of WWW servers
      o Free Software
      o Guitar Chords Archives
      o Global Network Academy
      o Electronic Newsstand
      o FAQs from the InterNet
o The Clearinghouse for Subject-Oriented Internet Resource
      o Macintosh Site
      o Cambridge Information Service
      o WWW Virtual Library

It's as easy as going to a prompt on a live InterNet site that has
lynx, and typing:

lynx http://gagme.wwa.com/~boba

After that, you can explore the world of ASCII art and everything else
without using a single command or logging in anywhere else. You don't
need FTP and Gopher anymore, the World Wide Web interfaces with all of it,
and outomates all of it.

If you've never tried out the web before, you should, it's the way to
surf the Net, and check everything out. My Scarecrow's WWW Link is a
nice place to start, especially if you like ASCII art.

   Go for it!

WARNING: THE SURGEON GENERAL HAS DETERMINED THAT THE WORLD WIDE WEB IS
             EASY, FUN, AND ADDICTIVE!
                            """""""""
