   Well Glenn, just remember that some people see articles and sigs as 
two separate things.  I don't see such a big difference.  Eitther one has 
an equal opportunity to be entertaining and informative, or a big waste 
of bandwidth.

   I've seen some sigs that are better than the content of the average 
post.  And I've seen the opposite.  I just think that rules like sigs 
shouldn't be over four lines long are a bit arbitrary.  There have been some 
posts that would have benefitted from such a rule.
