You may recognize Marc Laidlaw as a science fiction writer - his story "The 400 Boys" appears in the Mirrorshades anthology. The following picture is from his parody story "Nutrimancer", which is obviously a take-off of Neuromancer. The picture appears in the story because one character has a "typographic filter" on his glasses that converts visual data into ASCII. I'd kill for such a filter! Anyway, the story "Nutrimancer" can be found in the book SHAGGY B.E.M. STORIES edited by Mike Resnick (from Nolacon II Press) and somewhere else. Keep an eye out for ASCII in the real world, and by famous people! _____________ < > +++++++++++++++++ {---} {---} * [===] www ooooooooooooo wwwwwwwwwwwwwww <><><><><><><><> ><><><><><><><><>< ================= vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvv ************* xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (c) 1988 by Marc Laidlaw posted sans permission
