This goes quintuple for ANSI animations-- the potential is hugely exciting to me, but I simply can't take the required time to experiment by hand. So I propose we put our heads together and create some simple C-code that can easily be ported to *every* platform (hey, it's just text!), and then add features to our hearts' content... But rather than hogging the bandwidth here, I invite interested parties to rendezvous over on comp.text, which is a relatively quiet-and-appropriate group, at least for starters. (I think Ascii windowing can be included, too, and we can reasonably argue that what we're doing will grow into an integrated text/ascii-graphics editor...)
