This program provides financial support, up to $2,000 per request, for City of Palo Alto, San Mateo County, and Southern Alameda County (Hayward, San Lorenzo, Pleasanton, Livermore, Fremont, Newark, and Union City) visual and performing artists and arts organizations. =20 PVF is known for giving an answer and a check within 48 hours if the project proposal is fundable and for having minimal application requirements. To qualify, one must propose an arts event or exhibition in an unconventional setting. Newly emerging performers and artists from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply. The Community Arts Program is an effort to increase the variety of arts in the City of Palo Alto, San Mateo County, and Southern Alameda County by local artists.
