Some allow you to create AVIs from still pictures (certain format). As for the software you can use, well, you can look on the web for these programs. Chances are you'll find shareware software that you need to register or, you can look on computer magazines. Occasionally, they give you limited versions of such programs for free. A while back, PC Plus (I think it was them) put VideoWave+ Special Edition on their cover CD and I use that to create my movies. My best advice to you is to take a good rummage around on the web for shareware versions of programs, register it if you need to or keep looking at the computer mags, maybe they have a special offer you could take advantage off.
