Hell I dunno Frank, what I do know is that you can view some using javascript in
your webbrowser.

This URL should be viewable with your netscape-browser with the javascript
turned on.

Then click the link to the ascii-anim.
Under Linux I usually put a "home" char in the file so you can view it with
'cat'.

No special software required...
