(I'm assuming that you are making a Javascript animation) This is an excerpt from my Javascript ascii-animation lesson at http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/9334/animlesson.htm#top Each line must begin with a " (quotation mark). Each line except the last line of all frames must end with \r\n"+ (backslash, lowercase r, backslash, lowercase n, quotationmark, plus sign). The last line of each frame except the last frame must end with a \r", (backslash, lowercase r, quotation mark, comma). The last line of the last frame must end with a \r" (backslash, lowercase r, quotation mark) N.B. THERE IS NO COMMA AT THE END OF THE LAST FRAME. Another important thing, any \ (backslash) in your drawing must be preceded by another \ (backslash) or you will have weird jumps in your animation. The same goes for any " (quotation mark) in the drawing. And apparently, for some people, you must do the same with any < and > (lessthan and greaterthan). Precede each of them with a \ (backslash). I hope that helps. (The advertisers who stupidly inundate this group don't seem to realize that there are very few people in this group to even *see* their advertisements, because, of course, the advertisers are dumb as rocks.) NOTE: I do not pick up my mail from the idirect address that you see. If you are e-mailing me and hit the reply button, add an "e" to "freent"; its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers. -- llizard aka ejm cq547@freene+.+oron+o.on.ca ,^ ASCII-ar+, ASCII and gif anima+ions ===%^^^^^^^^^^^^ http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/9334/ " "
