One highly popular thing used to "doll up" BBS's was to created animated pages using embedded cursor movements. They called them "break messages" and some people, myself included, used to write "movies" done entirely in Atascii. (Which went the way of the dinosaur with the advent of the bandwidth sucking Internet.) Anyway, so that these marvels of days-gone-by weren't lost forever, I dedicated my website to them. You can download the ones I have, and once a month a post another one online in RealMedia format that you can watch online! The 'Break Movie' Warehouse http://www.flash.net/~ambrosia/index2.html and if anyone out there has any old "movies" that I don't, PLEASE pass them along! -*- Tom -*-
