NO MUSS, NO FUSS PUMPKIN CARVING

Hilliard, OH -- Pumpkin carving without a knife or a pumpkin, all you
need is a computer.  DM2 Solutions, is changing the face of Halloween's
messiest past-time with a high-tech pumpkin carving contest.  The Web
surfer who creates the best Jack-O-Lantern will be featured on our Web
Site and will receive several HI-TECH prizes. Jeanne Middleton, the
President of DM2 says, "we're encouraging people to explore three
mediums; images, animation's and multimedia".

Anyone can enter. E-mail creative virtual carvings to:

All entries must be posted by October 30th.  The winner will be
announced on October 31st.  The judges are: Stewart McKissick - Dean of
Illustration, Columbus College of Art and Design, Lisa Fravel -
Designer for Victoria Secret, Stephen Webster - President of The
Columbus Society Communicating Arts, Andrew Spitzer - Designer for
William's Communications, and Mark Middleton -Vice President of DM2
Solutions.  The rules are simple

1) Use a pumpkin in the image
2) File size is limited to 100k no larger than 200 x 200 pixels
3) Indicate the category you're applying for , Image, Animation or
Multimedia.
4) Image files should be JPEG or GIF formats.
5) Animation files should be in animated GIF or SHOCKWAVE 5.0 	format.
6) Multimedia files should be Shockwave format and can have Images,
Sound, Animation and Interactively with in the file.  The judges will
use the latest version of the Shockwave plugin from Macromedia.
7) Submitters grant DM2 the right to display their image on its web 	
8) DM2 reserves the right to not publish an image if it violates any
local, state or federal statutes.
