Seriously, if : you're on Unix just uudecode and then "cat" the thing. If you're on MS-DOS : make sure you have a line like "DEVICE=ANSI.SYS" or "DEVICEHIGH=ANSI.SYS" in : your CONFIG.SYS file. Then just "type" the animation. You probably see garbage : on your screen because of the different text styles under Unix and DOS. Be sure to use the binary switch because there could : eventually be a loss of escape sequences. If you have more questions on this, : wait 'til monday when the FAQ is posted or finger to boba@gagme.wwa.com (Bob : Allison). Be sure to use 'zcat' if the animation has a '.Z' on the end of the name after uudecoding. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jake Patterson "...You'll see my teeth in the stars above..." jpatters@moose.uvm.edu -TMBG --------------------------------------------------------------------------
