! Spaghetti Dinner The Spaghetti Dinner team (John Bell, Trudi Cohen, Stephen Kaplin, Jenny Romaine, Mark Sussman) continues their season of monthly community evenings featuring homecooked food and good art. NOVEMBER 21: Spaghetti Dinner will make its appearance in the guise of the Great Artiste Cabaret, a plethora of titillating avant-variety acts. See exotic fan dances, amazing tricks of a dancing bear, acrid political satire of questionable taste, the saga of a Viper pilot over Bosnia, singing waiters and the Great Artiste Cabaret band led by Dr. Ralph Denzer and Dr. Sarah Wilson. Hosted with panache by Jenny Romaine and John Bell, with special guest artists from Vermont and Brooklyn. DECEMBER 19: Continuing its tradition of secular ritual on the Lower East Side, Spaghetti Dinner presents (by now classic) double bill: Hugo Ball's Dada Nativity and Santa Klos Hot Gekhalisht (in Yiddish). Also the premier episode of their anarcho-serialized thriller The Man Who Was Thursday adapted from G.K.Chesterton and directed by Mark Sussman. Potato pancakes, music, merriment, wow! Tuesdays, November 21st and December 19th @7:30pm First Floor $8 for Seniors or $6 unemployed _________________________________________________________________ .
