 Walking through the light rain.
 wearing a linen jacket over a tee-shirt.... the drops fall on my arms as
 if the jacket were not there...... and dry instantly.
 I walk past the Zigfeild theater...... look into the lobby for no reason
 at all. a small child <too young for jurassic park> is in the lobby with
 his (her?) mother..... looking very upset. <I guess somone just found out
 that three or four really is too young for this film>
 The child looks up and sees me through the tears.... stops.... takes a
 deep breath.... waves and ventures a smile. mom looks at me .... avoids
 eyecontact for a nanosecond.... glances back at junior <who is almost calm>
 and gives up a real smile..... like you hardly ever get in nyc. I smiled
 back and went on my way...... the whole exchange lasted about two
 seconds... I hardly even broke stride.
