 i'm surprised that you used the word humiliating to describe OJ'
 experience last night Aurora.  i don't think he humiliated himself at
 all.  he lost control.  .  it was a very unfortunate and sad
 event.  the whole thing has been tragic.  nothing he has done has
 wiped out the respect and admiration that he had.  respect and
 admiration are now part of his past life experience.  he now has
 a terrible future ahead of him.  he knows his future now will be
 awful, and he knows he can't turn the clock back which makes it
 all the worse. i do feel compassion for him.  i guess in some
 ways i feel more compassion for him than i do for people dying
 in wars around the world.  probably because his behaviour
 is behaviour that i can see anyone of us exhibiting.  i can't
 imagine myself being stuck in a war zone, or going hungry from
 starvation, or being expelled from my country, though those
 are far worse events than OJ experienced.  i can however see
 myself losing control one day and not being responsible for
 my actions and not acting rationally.
 i hope when that happens, that others won't consider that i have
 humiliated myself.
