104:162) Lindy Date: 24-APR-94 13:57 I had a yellow train experience today. It was a lovely day at street level. Down I went, whistling, into the Lawrence St. stop in downtown Brooklyn, and - along comes an oddly whistling yellow train. But it was on the Manhattan-bound side, so I figured it would just leave a few toxic fumes and pass by. But no. The damned thing *turns around* And now it is not merely puffing a few little poisonous fumelets, it is belching copious clouds of eye-burning SPEW. It stops to do this for around ten minutes, before continuing in the direction I hoped to go. (it was the kind with the on it: the Mantis...) Hello, Eric. Any interpretations? The N train finally pulled into 36th St. amid a general murkiness: the yellow Thing was there before me. And it bumped my N to the B route which it followed strangely, missing certain key stops and bumping me, finally, onto a shuttle bus somewhere in deeper Brooklyn. It was . - - - - - .
