David Mills  a.k.a. Slim D was a prolific poster on the Source and ECHO.
David died in September of 1992. These pieces are taken from a (large)
collection of downloads which he meticulously preserved on dozens of
floppy disks. 

Footnotes:
 Marte was Slim's online girlfriend at the time - she lived in 3000
    miles away in California. These diaries started as private messages
    which Slim later released.
