WHAT'S NEW on the ECHO GOPHER

This is a little status report from me, jhhl@echonyc.com,
the ECHO gopher gofer.

Jan 31 1996
 Good news! a copy of the olde gopher from July 1995 has been found,
with which I can restore some as yet unrestored items! Music is back (if  
a bit out of date), but the music calendar has been replaced with the
more comprehensive Echo Calendar. More dusting required!

Jan 4 1996
 Happy New Year : The Kitchen's new schedule is up for perusal in the
restored Kitchen Item in Culture section. The Film Forum's film sched is
up to date as is schedule info on many musical events upcoming.

Dec 28 1995
 A bit More BMT is there, the Film forum schedule has been updated (for 
the Echo Calendar) and First Night In CyberSpace is up for the eponymous
event in Echo Events. Take a look!

Dec 14 1995
  PEN is back! More BMT to come! Etc.!

Dec 9 1995
 HGS files are there now.. soon: BMT (Brooklyn Metro Times) in the Pubs 
department. ECHO Calendar doesn't quite know what a weekend is, but I'll
fix that.

 Cool Things In New York is back, as is Echo Information. Every day a 
little more!

Nov 9 1995
 The Women's subdirectory, featuring the WHAM! alerts is back... as is the
ever popular Galleries list (in the stub of the culture menu) I'll be
rebuilding/reshaping/restoring the gopher in an ad-hoc manner for a few
days. 
   Some stuff will be gone forever. Some will be back again for the 
general enjoyment of all.


Nov 3 1995
 Well, the Real Echo gopher has mysteriously vanished, so this is a
sort of a mock gopher put together out of stuff that I (jhhl)
had lying about on my computer. There are a lot of missing articles
and features. In fact, a lot of things are out of date, period. 
When the real Gopher is rediscovered and rightfully restored,
I'll run throuh it and toss the old out of date stuff, get fresh stuff,
and do some reorganization, I suppose.
