       Given the account move means my posts are gone, time for a second #introductionI'm Uli, an iOS and macOS programmer by trade for a large car manufacturer. In the past I have ported several large apps from Carbon to Cocoa.I'm a big fan of #HyperCard and am working on a HyperCard clone named @stacksmith in my spare time.I also like retro-programming on Macs under System 7, and recently on a lark ported AppKit to it too (https://github.com/uliwitness/AppKitForClassic).

       @MichaelWhelan I wonder: Do you usually know how large the title and any "FROM THE HIT TV MOVIE" badges etc. will be? Or do you just leave some space on two sides to give the publisher something to work with? Are there standard "dead areas" like with comic covers?And is it hard to switch back to "I'm just doing art" mode and not leaving space? Or is that something you handle in the sketch/composition phase and don't need to worry about later?

       This account aims to:1. Post only CWed, actionable messages on politics, people can doomscroll elsewhere2. Repost only images with Accessibility Descriptions (whether on the image, or in a reply, maybe even added by me)3. Be a place where people can switch off for a while with nerdery from my daily programmer life, retro computing things, language, scifi, books, TV and gaming4.
