@dansup I understand you perfectly. My first website was hosted by Geocities in the 90s and PHP has been my partner since version 3.0, back in 2000.Sometimes I feel like the internet is going backwards in some things. I miss that pristine Internet where you would connect for a few hours using dialup connection and every session was a discovery, and every web was different from the rest. Now, for 90% of the population, everything is just centralized in 5-10 websites ran by multinational companies. Internet was cool when those actors didn't care about it and it was really free :)

@dansup In my humble opinion I think focus on Pixelfed should be a must and priority. You should not have all the Fediverse alternatives under Pixelfel umbrella and Pixelfed still needs a lot of work, then Loops. If you have extra resources use them on those but a new project...? I think it is crazy. If you have extra money to spare maybe save it or sponsor other Fediverse OSS projects? In any case, congratulations on the goals and the funding!

@dansup Out of curiosity, any funny anecdotes? Which one was the weirdest feature that made it into production/release? 🙂
