@mntmn Fun! I bet someone now will do a crazy microsd-express to full size PCIe adapter and plug a GPU into it....

@mntmn @theawesomerandomness What's the gold footprint with the blobby centre at the top left near the connector?

@mntmn @theawesomerandomness Ah so is that an unpopulated footprint with a big central ground pad? With solder on the ground pad?

hmm, I intended to try 'labplot' but am not getting anywhere; Fedora 43's package doesn't install. Debian trixie's seg faults on startup. It doesn't build from git on Fedora 43.

Ooh I got it apparently working on Fedora 43 - it's got a dependency of 'qt6-qtbase(x86-64) = 6.9.1' but 43 has 6.9.2 ; installing all the dependencies and then installing that with a --nodeps and ... it seems to be working. hmm.

'labplot' is actually interesting now I've got it working; it's easily able to interactively plot a large graph with no trouble and interactively fiddle with it. It's also got a 'computational notebook' which I'd heard of but never played with before; it's quite neat - in the Python shell, creating any numpy variable appears in the GUI and then it looks like you can apply any of the graphing/analysis things to it.
