       @dansup oh I'm guilty of doing that and I think it's because the pop up message was small and low on the screen, and disappeared before I could even read it. It was grey, too, which in my mind suggested an error message. I couldn't see anything like a square with some mention like "uploading", similar to when you upload to YouTube. That kind of confirmed my suspicions. After a while, I just figured I needed to reupload and that's only when I saw that the first video had been uploaded.

       @dansup I think it's clear that we need to be able to fund content creators if we want quality original content. It would also fill a gap in places like Canada, where creators don't have access to the Tiktok creator fund and must rely on partnerships with businesses. This has downsides both for the audience and the content creator. When you're paid in physical goods that you wouldn't be able to afford, you must consider a marginal tax rate, which... you also can't afford.

       @FediVideo @moxxi@makertube.net 😊 thank you! Visibility is challenging on PeerTube, I have to say. I cross-post to YouTube and short, vertical form videos get sooo many views 😢 however, as it is the case with the rest of the Fediverse, the number of views is vastly different but the interactions remain comparable. So - quality views, I guess? I'm glad that they're working on a mobile app though, I want to make unserious stuff that people check out with one eye closed before bed haha
