       @dansup I believe a #FYP is absolutely essential for a platform like @loops . The majority of SOME users use platforms like TikTok and Instagram for passive entertainment, and absence of a FYP makes that experience less interesting. I have no idea how a "relevance algorithm" works, but I imagine that a video is scored from e.g., 1-100 based on my viewing activity. I guess everything above e.g., 70-80 would go to my FYP. I strongly recommend to you that only maybe 80% of my FYP should consist of those videos and the remaining 20% should be those ranging from 10-20. This would allow me to easily discover content that I did not know that I liked.

       @dansup what is wrong with services like patreon?Also - since there is not yet any transparency on the features being worked with (I am sure it will come), it is difficult to know your priorities - but I would suggest to throw your resources to the core features of loops and monitization later ☺️

       @dansup In Denmark we have a saying that "the monkey travels with you" - meaning that if you are a dick and move to a different place - you are still likely to be a dick. I predict that whenever all of the "keyboard-warriors" and hate-speaking people from the major platforms move to the fediverse, they will bring their bad habbits and behaviour with them.

       @_elena @randahl I know - it's a dilemma: How do we promote alternatives to Big Tech without using Big Tech to reach the users we would like to change platform? I do see, however, that your video on PeerTube seems to have more views than the one on YouTube. That is actually quite awesome 😁.Great video, btw ... really, really good 🎉❤️

       @engedal @bjarkess @metteh @Jonasdahl jeg har prøvet Deltachat og også element.io (Matrix). Element virker lidt mere “corporate” og gennemført for mig. Men Deltachat har også sine fordele - bl.a.  en app/extension mulighed, der er ret omfattende.
