@ewenbell Ewen you really nail it.At almost every aspect I can say "yeah right".To me it's kind of two fold:I share because I love taking people with me out and about. You're on tour with me with my photos.Why I share on fediverse: because I know that a reaction is done because someone wants to react for the means of reacting.On any algorithm driven platform, there's always a voice in the back of my mind that says "it's just a reaction to have engagement".

One more photo stop that we did after quite a rain pour in the #schwarzwald. We came up this path when I turned around and saw the sun beams through the canopy. ohh just saw that I almost missed a comment in my #peertube account. I haven't figured a good way to keep track of them yet instead of logging in actively.BUUUUT, what I also saw is that my peertube account @hikingdude@video.franzgraf.de has now 100 followers! 😄 I'm not publishing a lot of videos. Video is just ... not easy. But it's fun to make from time to time.

Good morning! For this #silentSunday I want to share this #foggy path with you.I was on my way down and when I entered the fog, temperature really dropped. Actually I didn't want to stop or slow down in order to avoid cooling out. But at this spot I had to take a quick break for a quick photo to capture the memories of this day. #FotoVorschlag 'mein bestes Foto 2025' 'my best Foto 2025'I was curious which photo might show up if I sort my Catalogue by my rating. Yet there are still some unprocessed folders. But .. regarding my rating, I took my best photo close to the end of the year! Due to many reasons I didn't take as many photos this year as usual. But this one really resonates with me.
