       @bleeptrack have you already tried different kinds of music with less engagement? For example, stuff by "Liquid Mind" is space – filling, but not mentally engaging. It allows me to keep focus.

       @bleeptrack <hr> is perfectly cromulent markup these days and it has a meaning not met by other markup. The tacky reputation is from the land before css, where the only way to make appealing layout was tables and images and a horizontal rule would stick out as much as an unstyled H1Now it can be used without shame, styled to exactly what makes sense for the view

       @ancientjames in the spirit of HDR there should be a stack of digital processing we can add that performs the perceptual adjustment you'd do if you were there seeing it in person. That's probably easier than recording reality with enough fidelity and depth such that the raw playback can be "seen right" at the receiving end.
