@dansup Awesome news! Are you planning a playstore release? I use Mastodon on my phone a lot, but currently, I think it's the only fediverse app that made it in the official store. I won't do f-droid on this phone without a save way to install and update it.

@dansup that sounds familiar. Don't get business cards with "I'm CEO, b*tch." on them, though. If you decide to go with a German eG, eV (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Registered_association_(Germany) ), Swiss or European equivalent (had a French name, I think) and need people to sign the founding contract, I'd be happy and honored to join.

@peertube ten years ago I didn't even know the #fediverse exists. Congrats!

@kde Sadly can't support right now for this year. If you're still open maybe later it's possible again.

I want to propose Commons Based Peer Production as an economic model capable of representing #opensource work, #carework, #volunteering and similar efforts, where traditional #capitalism can not.Would this allow us to describe a path towards a #solarpunk #postscarcity future?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Commons-based_peer_production

How can we combine a #selforganized #hackerspace like @xHain_hackspace a #libraryeconomy hub like @stabihh and a local government-financed #communitycenter (which are very connected to the neighborhoods but usually rather tech averse; therefore i dont know a single one on Mastodon)? Could such a bridge be a path towards more #solarpunk ?

A huge strength of this model is that it is already working as part of existing modern-day capitalism. If it can be shown to work in other areas than the current successful ones, might we reach enough production to reach post-scarcity, at least for the participants? This would counter one of the biggest counter-arguments at present, which states that you currently need to bring in money to sustain yourself in these sub-economies.

RE: https://mastodon.social/@gvwilson/115499077682042280What if the cadt amount of work iw actually not done competitively? Thid argument is also brought forward when talking about #carework. Then we dont have a value extraction problem but an accounting problem. What economic models (plural) could represent better what actually happens and how could that help us redistribute resources better?

A realistic next step that people are currently working on may be #verticalfarming on #microfarms (local production) with #opensource farming equipment (#openhardware) .
