       Creating a @Tutanota account is turning out to be complicated: I am still waiting approval and I when I log in I get a message saying that I should write to say what I intend to use the new email account for.  I cannot write from my unactivated account, and the email I should write to (approval@tutao.de) is not valid. Tutanota, WTF? 😅 😜

       @Tutanota I could not send email from my unactivated account (not even to that address). When I hit [Send] nothing happened: the message was saved as draft and never sent; whenever I logged back in, I was presented with the unsent draft to edit. Tried with the web interface at app.tuta.com with Brave (latest version, shields off, Win11 pro).BTW, my account is now active! 🙂🙂🙂
