       Duolingo is getting weirder and weirder since they went all in on #ai I stopped doing most of the lessons and just did a word a day as a keepie-up. But, er.Araña means chandelier? Tea translated to merianda instead of té, this actually makes sense to me as a northern brit, but who else is going to think tea means snack time?Weird words with weird uses and not in a fun way, in an ai slop kinda way.#duolingo

       Should Inkscape have an update phone-homeatron that checks for new versions?I ask because, I don't wanna, but it's often requested.        Does anyone know what this is?I found it today nailed to the *inside* of a closet wall which is an outside wall of the house. Attached in such a way that it couldn't possibly have been put there after the house was built in 1873.It looks like Japanese print and seems to be wrapped and stuck into a sort of envelope.        Well that's wild; someone this morning tried to use the inkscape help chatroom as an AI bot, in Persian. Not understanding why "#inkscape_user" wouldn't respond.Please people, your friendly open source volunteer staffed help chat channels are NOT AI bots, you can not demand that they draw pictures for you.😬

       My brother in-law sent me a brain question. Which I'm pretty sure after writing a bunch of code to confirm, is complete bollocks. i.e. it is a malformed question with an impossible answer if you follow the action.(The demonstrated action is SHIFT to indexOf, and no amount of shifting can permeutate a set greater than 2)But maybe I'm wrong.#NotAMathsNerd #Programmer

       I admit that between the hyper competence of @Blender 5.0 the incredible attention to detail of cmyk in @Krita and *maybe* competing with Affinity on linux has all made my work the year feel like it's taking a hundred times longer than it should.I feel like if I was in Europe I'd be building an Inkscape non-profit with staff and be *involved* in the Free Software community instead of on it's edges where Free Software *used* to be here in the USA.Oh well, we do the work that's in front of us.
