@Tutanota been happy with 1Password. Not FOSS but seems like a decent company.

Hi Fediverse, I figured I'd try #GetFediHired since I like the tech ethos here so much more than LI. I'm a senior QA Engineer/SDET with 10+ years experience. I've built automation solutions in Cypress, Selenium, JMeter, Postman, Grafana K6 and more. I'm looking for a remote position or on-site/hybrid one in the Seattle area. I can provide my CV and LinkedIn profile via DM.Boosts are also welcome. Thanks#lookingforwork #jobs #fedihire #opentowork #cv

Interesting that on LI after posting similar #opentowork message, I almost immediately get connection requests from around a dozen recruiter accounts. Strangely, they mostly all have single digit number of connections and no history. Seems like bot activity. Apparently, this is a known problem: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-spot-bot-linkedin-comprehensive-guide-evalcommunity-1pdce/ and https://www.inc.com/joe-procopio/the-linkedin-fake-recruiter-problem-is-out-of-control/91228528 #enshittification

@strypey big kudos to @joshsjunkdrawer for moving over to @peertube and calling out the #enshittification of YouTube. The decline of YT has been obvious for a while but it’s seemed intractable to escape. Josh reminds us that it’s not.

@strypey @joshsjunkdrawer @peertube I do wish Peertube were easier to use. Took me like 5-10 minutes to find Josh’s channel on the app and I’m still not seeing how to follow it. Normies would’ve given up. I’m sure I’m just missing something but it seems like it’s harder than it should be

@peertube apparently I’m not logged in so that explains the issue. Thanks for that clarification! Kinda begs the question around discoverability of features so perhaps something to consider for future enhancements
