@dansup @pixelfed I'm glad it's not "Dark Mode".It seems like every commercial and open source project makes a bit deal about it.Who cares? it's a theme/skin.If the app/web site could be bothered to follow the OS appearance, we wouldn't need all this "dark mode"/"light mode" bs.

@mntmn Maybe it doesn't understand to run in 32bit mode?I had trouble running stuff in 64bit windows XP, as it seemed pretty buggy. I just waited until a proper OS came along for 64bit stuff.I would suggest trying to install the thing under a copy of 32bit XP instead.

@dansup Absolutely.Great idea in theory. Crap in practice. We've tried our best to pick devices for our house that are high quality, but there seems to be hardly anything between "cheap chinese shit" and "apartment-block-level devices" that cost thousands.

@dansup nice.I had a great time snowboarding in Banff a while ago.Not so good for my mate - he twisted his knee on the last go down the mountain on the first day, which wrote off the rest of his holiday ☹️We became regulars at the Salt Lick restaurant for the period. The food was really nice and they employed lots of good-looking women 🤪We had a day trip to Lake Louise too, which was amazing.I miss Canada, it has some awesome scenery.

@ObsidianUrbex How strange! I have no idea why that would be the case.Depending on your server software, could you add a random delay on page load, like sleep() in php?https://www.w3schools.com/php/func_misc_sleep.aspA few 10s of milliseconds might be enough?

@ObsidianUrbex It's interesting to see buildings that you don't normally have access to, but it's a shame when buildings start falling down and cant be repaired. We have so many in the UK, it's a shame more aren't able to be reused.Sometimes it's due to restrictions because the buildings are "listed", and this puts people off because it can be a nightmare to get planning permission to change things.I get the reason for it, but at the same time, I'm sure we're losing old buildings that could have been saved 😕

@organicmaps 1. Public transport would be great.5. With routing, it would be nice to have a way of forcing a route via a particular road for example. Sometimes, when I try and add intermediate points, and I get close, but don't actually get to the point, it keeps trying to send me back there, and there's no easy way to delete the point once i'm past it so it ignores it, especially while driving...

@organicmaps I think the data was alright, I was trying to avoid a bridge with a weight limit on it, so I picked an intermediate road nearby, which I didn't go down in the end (probably due to roadworks or something), and it was difficult to easily remove the point - my gf was in control of the phone at the time as I was driving, so couldn't really see what was going on.I'll try and get an actual example when I can.

@libreoffice I use #LibreOffice because it is cross platform, doesn't need an account to log in, and is very stable.Several times in the past I have used it to open Microsoft Word documents that were "corrupted" and Word couldn't open them itself, but LibreOffice Writer could! It also supports an amazing number of file formats, and I have used to amend PDF files without needing an expensive copy of Adobe Acrobat to do simple changes. There's none of that AI rubbish or annoying prompts trying to get you to upgrade to pointless newer versions.❤️

@FediFollows wtf??? #LibreOffice is great.I have been using it for years.Maybe it's not good enough for a "power user", but it's more than adequate for me, and probably 80% of users....
