@TerryHancock It's one of my favorites. I think the English dub is actually better than Japanese version, which is different for me. In any case, the real star of the show is the music.

Threads.net has been suspended on this server (darkmoon.social) due to Meta's policy decisions that enable systemic abuse and disinformation across its platforms. This is a decision I've been mulling over for a while now, and recent events have pushed me to finally pull the trigger. I will not associate with fascists, even by proxy. I'm sorry to lose access to good content by people who have accounts there, but enough is enough.#fightFascism #Meta #Threads #Defederation

@blogdiva Yup. When the planes struck the towers, I told my mom that the world had just changed. I couldn't seen exactly how things would play out, but I knew that unscrupulous men seize moments of crisis to advance their agendas. I was also aware of a rising fascist movement in the form of sovereign citizen types, especially in the inland Pacific Northwest.I remember thinking that the name of the DHS was very dystopian in an Orwellian sense.

@TerryHancock @natematias Apparently, that design was the inspiration for modern electronic character selection.

@MicroSFF It's nice that the number of ships is a good round number.

@MichaelWhelan I like this one much better. I haven't read the book, so I can't say how it reflects the tone of it, but I like how dark and fiercely determined the subjects are.

@TerryHancock I used that figure a little while ago, and I agree. It's a handy metric to use, and nothing more. I don't expect it to be perfectly accurate.

@mrshsaxon @dennyhenke @Tutanota Hotmail is just as suspect as gmail, and for the same reasons.I also have the same privacy and security concerns about Microsoft's OneDrive, and I won't use it.

@eff When police wrongfully arrest innocent people for violent crimes, it leaves the actual perpetrators free to commit further crimes, and denies justice for their victims.
