so I've been noodling about this actually.because I mean, some famous people are introverts but are performers and other front-facing roles people don't associate with introverts. when I blog on #RaintreeRuckus, it's akin to giving a speech (formal). on social media (#Mastodon, and especially #BlackSky) and #Dreamwidth , it's a bit more relaxed because the vibe is a small(er) setting. And I'm comfy there. some introverts do much better in small settings, or where they feel comfortable. i'm one of those. and ooooh boy once you get my going on my Wonk of the Month, I'm hard to stop!

Re: For those that don't know, GIFT is "Greater Internet Fuckwad Theory" where someone gets anonymity and an audience and turns into a total prick. Or, at least, get a lot louder and showier than they'd normally would be offline. And as I did a quick search engine search and come across rebuttals against GIFT, I'm starting to agree that this is no longer the main case anymore.As facebook (and this account) proves, people are just fuckin' jerks (and also in my case get really passionate, ridiculous, and bombastic in short spurts) with their whole chest.

New conclusion: It's not the GIFT, I just stop giving less of a fuck the longer I live. But I do think I give the impression that i'm much more talkative online than offline. because, different mediums. I get my thoughts out better when I type and had more time to think (INTROVERT).Also, that really good essay I wrote that one time that's all eloquent and shit? took me a month of polishing and still prone to stealth edits. of course it looks impressive.I'm much quieter offline cuz ...hard to get a word in sometimescontent to just listen/chilllike having a think small talk? no there's music playing and i'm not talking over that
