       @sinituulia You made me wonder. Do they make wigs that are specifically warm? If I'm covering my head anyway, I might look cute just as well, right.

       @sinituulia Love the cozy collar! Or at least that's what I perceive as cozy: neck covered and kept warm, but not restricted in movement.

       @brumph I actually agree it's her fault, and quite a lot of not autistic husbands would be just as indifferent as you.I'd say 'you choose' sooner, and walk to the other end of the store. It's good to add 'just call me when you've decided, so I can admire you wisdom and taste'. The last bit is said ironically, but fulfilled with all seriousness :)In our case we often don't bother asking even. I learned to just randomly pick one in my 20s, and he once realised that and asked, and I confirmed.

       @valhalla I love my serger, and I think most of them are tame when threaded correctly, cleaned, and oiled? Without watching, I'd think it's about serging as the only construction seam on wovens, but I don't think I've ever seen it on ready made clothes?

       @openess I am of the opinion that bulky ugly photo bags don't protect from ready bad things, so I use regular unlined fanny packs for my camera and lenses.

       @valhalla Huh, weird. But then I wouldn't listen much to a historical sewist's opinion of serging anyway. It's weird that she would even give it. Probably serges less than I use backstitch, and I use it rather often.Good luck with your serger when you get to it! Manuals are usually thorough, but if it's by any chance Jusi 654de, I have a comprehensive threading video for it :)

       @valhalla Yeah, professionals can't rely on adsense still earning them money for the past garments they've already sold, like Youtubers do (=already published videos).I still finish the edges that will be covered often enough, just because it keeps me from going batty from all the fraying while I'm handling the fabric for hemming and such.{and then once it serged, I often only roll it once, because that's enough; either that, or I'll sew binding by hand, it depends}

       @lori I printed an under the cabinet jar opener that is used a lot, but it uses a jigsaw blade and overall wasn't straightforward.I have a tool to open cans with a ring because pulling rings hurts my fingers.I printed handles and knobs for the same reason, and TPU rings to go over slippery sewing machines wheels.I also have a hemostat. Got it for sewing, but it's great for pulling those tiny slippery plastic strips from bottle caps.

       @dressdeveloper Great idea; I often add hoods to patterns. But I only ever use scuba hoods and crossover hoods.

       @sinituulia Why make threads if you have 5000 character limit? Threads are so much harder to read :(
