       @eff Hey, this Doctorow fellow seems like he's got a good handle on Meta's recent policy decisions. Maybe EFF should have run that press release by him before publishing it.

       @eff Yes, Meta *does* have a clear and disturbing record. Which is exactly why so many people were shocked and disappointed by the credulous statement you issued earlier this week.It's good to see you acknowledging that statement was a mistake, but it's still jarring that you made it in the first place.I'm a longtime supporter of the EFF, and I know nobody's perfect and mistakes happen. But I expect better of you than uncritically reporting Meta press releases. Please don't do it again.

       @eff We got cited for a code violation based on drone photos. They claimed that our toolshed was over the size limit, on the assumption that its footprint was the same dimensions as its roof, because evidently they do not understand how roofs work.It took us months of phone calls and paperwork before they finally sent an inspector out. He took one look at our toolshed and said "Really? They sent me out here for THIS?"
