Reaching out to all you #SelfHost gurus out there in the fediverse!I am considering self-hosting my own instance with masto.host on the starter Moon plan.Any thoughts, or advice as I am a total novice with this <31 - As an established account with a sizeable number of followers, who posts maybe 1-8 photos a day, will this create a huge cache? @yvan Thanks for your input! Just catching up with messages 💚I emailed masto.host, they confirm that my 6k followers would indeed result in a massive cache! So much so I would need a plan that is far above what I can afford.I was so set on self hosting, but given my limited knowledge I don't think I would be able at this time 🖤

The number of followers I have, along with that I post photos, will likely require one of the top packages. Just a quirk of how Mastodon works I guess 💙

I don't have them as buy now options in my shop though as most people seem to like smaller sizes. Maybe I need to add a "custom size" on the drop-down, you got me thinking 🙏

Edendork Dance Hall, County Tyrone. Built in 1963, it was once a bustling venue on the Irish showband circuit during the 1960s and 1980s. When the showband era came to an end in the mid-1980s, dance halls like this began to close down.
