@Tutanota The real so called "Unification Day" (ger. Der Einigungs Tag) was 11.09.1990, but new government chooses different "official" date for it due to the historical very bad events that took place on that particular day in the past, which collides with this national, supposed to be happy, holiday. So officially is now the 3rd of October instead of the 11th.

@Mastodon Hi. I have a problem and few questions about.Do the rules that apply here apply to all users? Or are there some "privileged" groups of users that can do whatever they want, including harassing and attacking others?Do the moderators here act selectively, punishing only some people and ignoring the actions of others? Or they should be neutral and equally doing their job?I would like to get some official statement on this topic, because I no longer understand this at all. 🤔🙄

@mntmn @theawesomerandomness This is quite possible, indeed. The cause may be copper, or rather the carbon content and other impurities/ingredients in it. Some commonly used in the production process of copper (and elements later built from it) can together constitute a kind of signal insulator. This is a fairly well-known problem in amateur radio. This all together can literally act like an Faraday cage.

@gael Reading this on my phone which is an almost 10 years old one device. And yes it is still running very fine, same as on the first day I unboxed it, years ago. Still have original battery inside and I don't experience any particular degradation of it, which surprises me very pleasantly. Phone works really good. Actually doesn't have android on board anymore. Is now SailfishOS powered. No goggle crap, no other junk, no battery drains, and it have best audio ever made for phones. I love it! 🥰❤️

@_elena Perhaps it is a sign that humans should go back to the nornality, because they are gone way too far in this digital madness.I read few researchers some weeks ago. What they write is frightening. They checked those young generations living in the EU and almost 34% of them can not properly write something by using their hands. Another twenty is already acting like the digital junkies. Take them phones away and you will get same effects like by the drugs.Where the heck humanity is going?

@gael Yeap, you're fully right. That's something not only irrational but also very childish. Such behavior should not take a place between adult people and especially in the professional world. Sane competition, yes of course, because it is an good thing for everyone, but not something like that. From the business point of view it's like a absolute suicide.Honesty.. If this were in Germany, the Office for Unfair Competition would literally roast them in a single court hearing, and the judge would order the company into immediate liquidation. And their "Mr. CEO" would go to jail or undergo compulsory psychiatric treatment.

@Tutanota Well, it certainly doesn't include the exorbitant price of the device, just because "privacy is paramount." Seriously! Someone there really went totally crazy with those prices! What's so expensive about the phone that it's so jaw-droppingly expensive overall? The Swarovski-encrusted, gold-plated casing? These phones are not so wonderful that they should charge customers such prices for them. Dear creators, come down to earth. Otherwise, a dog with a lame leg won't buy this.🤦♀️🤦♀️@volla
