So, it's probably about time for me to do an intro post.I'm a software engineer who got an insanely early start. I have ADHD and a sleep schedule that looks like my cat rolled around on my keyboard. I'm also a married US expat living in Germany, with my family.I'm a musician on involuntary hiatus, a woodworker with no shop, and a photographer with no time for the hobby.Outside work, I cook, and send way too much time on embedded electronics projects. You may have seen my keyboard.

@mntmn awesome! I'll probably be diving into that too once I finish my Rust driver for the PMW3389, since I think the Azoteq touchpad for the Svalboard might also support limited multitouch.

@mntmn if I end up being able to save up enough for a Pocket Reform, I'm totally building RMK support for it. 🦀

#askfedi Something like 25 years ago, back when Quake 1 was still relatively new, I wrote a Quake mod called Gibthrower that gave you an entity to place in levels that would... throw gibs.Someone in the modding community gave me a huge help troubleshooting my QuakeC source code so the mod would actually work. However, since then, I've lost all my files and even the Hotmail address I used at the time, so I don't have any way of finding who it was who helped me out.Anyone remember helping me?

#askfedi and, does anyone remember my Gibthrower mod for Quake? I think I used the same "funkiedamouse" at the time, though I may have started using "nosferatu" by then.

@Tutanota @volla Most important for me is being able to see and control where data is being sent.

I've been designing PCBs for a while, but this is my first time ever designing one with any sort of battery charging or antenna connection. I hope I managed to do a decent job, but if anyone has more experience with either and feels like taking a look at my PCB/schematic, it would be greatly appreciated!https://codeberg.org/whitelynx/lynx-mouse#electronics #pcb #pcb_design_review #nrf #liion

@mntmn I know you're probably plenty busy with projects already, but I was wondering if you knew anyone who had time/energy to do a quick circuit review for my open source mouse design?I've never tried building anything with either a Li-ion charging circuit or an antenna until now, so although I think it looks good given the research I've been doing, I can't help but wonder if I'm missing something important.

@mntmn The reference schematics didn't show that, but maybe that would be a good idea. Thanks for taking a look at it!
