New Instance, new #Introduction, I guess.So, I'm David, and I'm on my own instance now!I'm #French, and I live in #Japan where I teach #English at the local uni. @alfiegoodrich Yes, I've been de-americanizing my online life more and more, but not enough yet. And the problem is that now, we kinda need to know what's going there as it's going to affect the whole world. But I guess that what BlueSky will be for as it's very American-centric (although I created a second account there for separating what I see too)

Weird. So I have some google alerts set up for some keywords related to the Setouchi Triennale and its islands. I just got one about an unknown artist (but from a very rich and famous family in France, they're actually famous for being rich) who says in an interview in a magazine that she was part of the Triennale, except that... well, she wasn't. And she never mentions a specific location in the interview she just says "the Setouchi Triennale" several times.WTF?!?!

I'm starting to wonder how much AI is involved in the whole thing.The woman actually exists, but I'm really wondering if everything else, her "art," the interviews and more is not just AI.🤔I'm probably spending more time thinking about this than I should, but there's something off about her.

@elaterite That it's unusable unless you have a PhD in Gimp Studies or something. Hard to explain: buttons everywhere, no clarity whatsoever, looks like the dashboard of an Airbus 380.@GIMP
