#WordWeavers Nov 27. Describe one of your characters from the point of view of another character. The Baron on Martlet: it's rare to form a friendship with someone you've had to sentence to death, but I do look forward to our chats while we clean the aviary each morning. Of course, she'll have to leave soon - how else is she going to earn back her life? I'll miss her. She had a rough start in life, those nuns are no better than gangsters, rival abbeys fighting, bloodshed spilling into neighbourhoods. But there's a whole different personality in her - fierce Martlet, and kind, thoughtful Amelie.

Just finished The Three Body Problem, going to have to give it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.Absolutely epic, a deep dive into the human psyche as well as an engaging first contact story. It didn't have the soul-crushing desolate scene from the TV series - perhaps that's in one of the sequels (those who know, know). This section spoke out to me: "Sometimes I thought life was precious, and everything was so important; but other times I thought humans were insignificant, and nothing was worthwhile. Anyway, my life passed day after day accompanied by this strange feeling, and before I knew it, I was old...."

@Tutanota I'm getting a lot of phishing emails, every one from a different domain & email address, but all with the same username, subject, and content.Looks like I can only block on domain or email address in Tuta? Any way to set up a spam rule on any other fields?User name is: MetaMаskSubject is: Lаst Reminder: Security Notification

@Tutanota tell me more! I'd rather give my money to Tuta than Dropbox. Not that I have any problems with them, but they are in the evil empire...

I found out this week that Mrs Kedge and I can't have separate email addresses on a custom domain delivered to our own Tuta.com mailboxes, due to the first dickish move I've seen so far from @Tutanota Ok I thought, I'll just set up forwarding through forwardemail.net. Hmmph, somehow part of the delivery verification is not working. I think I have MTA-STS set up correctly, but I keep getting "The MX host does not match any MX allowed by the STS policy." when I try sending test emails. Maybe the policy is stuck with tuta, heck if I know.Holy carp this whole email infrastructure is an unholy mess.Have to say, screw you Tuta, for not acknowledging a family may have their own email accounts on a custom domain.

@BashStKid @Tutanota yep, apparently this catches a lot of users out. You have to step up from personal to business accounts

@Tutanota @BashStKid Thanks, once I found how to remove the custom domain from Tuta, everything started forwarding correctly using forwardemail.net. I guess I'm sticking with that.

It seems that the CEOs enamoured of LLMs and forcing them on their staff have forgotten the fine details of creating quality products, performing skilled tasks, turning angry customers into loyal product evangelists through superlative customer relations. All they ever do is make general requests and policies, and other people provide a huge variety of skills to turn those woolly ideas into a profitable company. The CEOs are obviously doing the most important part, because they get paid the most money - right? Now they have been convinced that LLMs can automate the process. All they need to do is to turn all their staff into little low-cost versions of themselves, sprinkle in the magical AI pixie-dust, and giga-dollars will come rolling in. Delusional.
