       @flwwhtrbt ive never understood the blinding white knight status Steam often gets. While their return polices for a time where some of the industries best. They still had controlling practices just the same. I see people who will buy a game on Steam that Epic offers for free. And to be honest I just stare ... There is no push to ensure their libraries compatibility with modern systems. There is no policy check for dubious software sales. But no I don’t plan on buying anything on Epic. Steam isn’t perfect but Epics owners are even bigger d-bags.

       @_elena @muhkayoh @rbreich I mean at least they post to Mastodon at all?!?! The more well known figureheads at least have a presents here the more credibility the social network as a whole gets. And look I get the importance of alt text. But pestering and attacking people over it who don’t, doesn’t really display Mastodon as a welcoming community. It just paints us like the Neckbeards on the Linux forums. (I’m well aware there are 1000s of Linux nuts on here)

       @_elena it’s also a little troubling they left off Mastodon from Europe as to indicate there is nothing currently in Europe. Liars
