[] What is it...
TW is a simple Android application, that let's you connect easily to any Telnet
BBS out there. It simplifies the way to get an up to date BBS list from the
"telnetbbsguide.com" site and use a telnet application, like ConnectBot to
connect to.
[] How to Use...
When you first launch the app. it contains a BBS list, which you should update,
at first chance. Press the Menu button, Up/Right corner and select "Update List"
to do so. After downloading and inserting all records to the database, you can
browse it and even make search queries to limit the results.
In each BBS record/row, you will see thress buttons, Connect, Details, Bookmark.
Their use is self explanatory. The Bookmark button, adds the selected BBS to
your Favorites list/database, which you can edit/configure. In the main
database, you cannot edit any record, only in your Favorites list.
To switch between the main database and your Favorites one, swipe the screen
from left to right, to open the Application Drawer. Select Database or Favorites
to switch. There are other selections too.
[] Search Queries...
Press the magnifying glass icon in the top/right corner, to drop down the
Search/Filter panel. Enter a string to search for and select the field to look
into it, by pressing the right icon, with the three horizontal lines.
For example, if you want to search for all Synchronet BBSes, press the Field
Icon, select Software and write "Synchro" in the text field. Press the Search
button and the list will be updated with all Synchronet BBSes.
[] Export list...
In the Menu (top/right corner), you will find an option to export the BBS list
into a CSV file. This is particularly useful for your favorites database/list,
specially if you will use it to store login credentials.
