If you have access to an OCR and are willing to scan some text in,
there is an infinite amount of material, old and new, waiting to be
scanned! If you do not have anything particular you would like to
scan, look in the local library, read the alternative press, or ask a
member of the editorial collective. There is a list of suggestions at
the bottom of this page. If all else fails, someone will send you a
copy of a work worth scanning, or material can be obtained from a
radical publisher or bookshop. Make sure that your choice does not
violate copyright (if in doubt, stick to works that are more than 50
years old), is not already in the archive and that someone else is not
currently engaged in scanning it; see the following section. Note
that your name will not appear in this list of works currently being
scanned.
Suggestions for material to be scanned are welcomed - particularly out-of
-print books, pamphlets and other obscure material. If you have a copy of
something rare, let us know!
